"Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life" (Rom. 5.18).

Jesus' blood would have been wasted if He didn't die for every soul that ever lived to give every person who ever lived the free choice with sufficient grace to come to the cross whosoever is willing.
That would be strange if some people didn't need the blood of Jesus because they were NOT irresistibly selected and given no grace to have the free choice receive Jesus. If you were irresistibly selected or passed over then Jesus died in vain.
Now I know why James White uses the phrase "the blood of Jesus is wasted" if not everyone is saved. Turn that over and say the blood of Jesus is wasted since it is not offered to all to receive whosoever is willing. Some of His blood is not offered to all according to Calvinists so it is wasted.
