9 out of 10 forest fires in USA are started by man. Whether by accident or on purpose, it is still a sin. A mistake from carelessness has its root in sin.

how are forest fires sinful? it seems that amount of prevention against them out west has put many forested areas in need of a sweeping fire, which relieves the area of choking underbrush. if this is the case, wouldn't it be beneficial to start one, assuming we could control it enough to ensure no property damage/loss of life?
Obviously, forest fires that are independently caused by carelessness or mischief are not desirable, and they can do property damage. And you misread, for a forest fire is not sinful, but the root cause of why it happened may be sinful. A controlled fire agreed upon may be deemed beneficial.
You seem to have a spirit of dissension and misreading.
