    Default Preterism

Matthew 16:28 KJV, "Verily I [Jesus] say unto you, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

The verses preceding 16:28 have Jesus speaking of this coming by Him in His Kingdom with His angels resulting in judgement of men for their deeds. Since Jesus does not lie, then this verse means He has already come and done this while some of those standing there with Him were still alive.

It does no good for anyone trying to be a True Believer to come up with sweaty and ambitious explanations to the contrary. Praise God for the strength and power of His Word. Let's show unity in His Word, rather than divisiveness and disagreement. Amen, and Amen.

Remember, Love does not seek its own.

You've misread this verse with your flesh without the love of Christ in your heart. Jesus was seen by Peter, James and John on the mount of transfiguration which is a picture of the future scene of when Jesus returns.
